The long and short of it is me getting a call after dinner two weeks ago.  Girl, who I haven't even talked to in years, doesn't even live in the state - girl informs me she recently tested positive for the Herpes.

I think back to highschool sex-ed, the parts with the pictures.  This is a problem.

A quick refresher, based on what I read on wikipedia: the disease generally shows up within a month or so of actually getting it.  Symptoms are close to a really bad flu, but vary.  I presume you get sores and whatnot.

Now, I haven't been sick since last winter, when I had a few seperate colds, some pretty bad.  At this point, I had slept with girl a handful of times.  More of an occasional hobby on both our parts.

Was one of those colds actually a Hep symptom?  Did I just not notice random sores on my third favorite body part?

Probably not.  But I'll probably be checking this Sunday, just in case.
